Allan O'Donnell

Allan O’Donnell is a contemporary inspirational Christian, singer songwriter originally from Glace Bay who now lives in Edwardsville Nova Scotia with his wife Anita.

Music has always been a part of his life starting with concerts and festivals form the early age of 10 years; throughout his teen years Allan and eight siblings performed as a family singing group. It was not until 2001 Inspired by the Cursillo movement that Allan took his music to the next level and began composing and performing Inspirational Christian Music. In 2003 he helped form a Gospel Trio that presented original Gospel songs through many concerts and benefits in industrial Cape Breton.

In 2004 after the trio was dissolved Allan became a solo performer and carried his songs of praise to several stage performances at the Savoy Theatre in Glace Bay, many local concerts and benefits as well as radio play on Coastal Community and CBC Radio.

In February of 2005, Allan had a very successful CD release of his first CD entitled “From the Belfry”; His music has been showcased in both the 2005 and 2006 ECMA’s.

On November 1st of 2009 Allan released his second Cd “Who’s Knocking” and he continues to inspire and give hope to believers and non believers alike.
