Aaron Lewis
Aaron Lewis is a musician, singer, songwriter, performer living in Cape Breton, Canada. He has been playing live for almost 17 years. He performs with a number of different bands in the Cape Breton area and also travels with a number of bands on the road. He was a member of the travelling Carlton Showband for 7 years and played piano for the Ennis Sisters for a year. Aside from all that he works a lot as a session player.
He started playing drums at the age of 4 years old. During his early years he lived in Ontario. During those years his father played with The Carlton Showband, and was on the long running TV show The Pig And Whistle on Canadian national television. At the age of 6 he returned to Cape Breton.
Through the years he continued to play music and when he turned 16 he began to play piano. His first band was called Cross Roads; and soon after he was on the road with the Carlton Showband. After 7 years with them he moved back to Cape Breton. The Ennis Sisters asked him to play with them. After a year in that band, he again returned to Cape Breton. Now he’s writing songs and playing in a number of bands in the local area. He will be touring with the Carlton Showband in the fall of 2010.
His preference is country music. His latest recording is: Discovering Gold.
