Four For The Lord

Four For The Lord is a Contemporary Christian music group originating from Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. The group consists of four men from various parts of the Island: Alan Gale, Jamus Dorey, Pat Moore and Ronnie Martin. Their musical style differentiates from other Christian music groups in that all four men have strong solo voices and each member is capable of handling a variety of harmony lines. The group has the ability to perform the works of other Christian artists and they are very talented in writing their own music as well. The group members wrote five of the original songs on their award-winning CD Making Waves.

Four For The Lord is dedicated to bringing the message of the Gospel to people through the words of their music. They have performed in various locations throughout the province of Nova Scotia and Ontario and won a Covenant Award for Canadian Gospel Music in November 2002. They also received the Vibe award in Calgary in 2003. They have received nominations for Music Industry of Nova Scotia and East Coast music awards. Their full length CD entitled Making Waves sold more than 4000 copies.

Four For The Lord live shows are aimed at a wide-spread audience of any age. The objective of the group is to proclaim the Good News of the Gospels to as many people as possible.

Four For The Lord has appeared on the nationally televised Christian TV program 100 Huntley Street. They have appeared on ATV for the IWK Telethon, CTV Breakfast Television, Christmas Daddies, and Richmond Cable TV.
